The Intense Interrogation

It was a small, cramped interrogation room with two metal chairs and a table in the center. Detective Collins sat across from the suspect, Ruby, a young woman who had been brought in for questioning in connection with a robbery. Ruby sat there, fidgeting as she anxiously looked around the room.

The detective leaned in, pressing his face close to hers. "Do you understand the severity of this situation?" he growled.

"I didn't do it, I swear," Ruby protested, her voice shaking.

"I think you're lying to me," Collins replied, his breath hot against her cheek.

Ruby shuddered, trying to hold back tears. Suddenly, Collins grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her towards him. "You want to play hard to get, huh?" he sneered.
