As soon as she saw him, she thought she was hallucinating. "He can’t be here," she muttered under her breath. "Baltimore was his last posting." The presence of Major Sean Kelly looming in the doorway was the last thing she expected in her office.
He scanned the room, clearly as surprised as she was to find her there. Debris from her project littered the floor and the walls, like macabre wallpaper, highlighting her commitment to getting things done.
