Carmen stood at the bus stop, the sun beating down on her back. She waited impatiently for the bus that would take her to her job at a clothing store. She wore a simple outfit, a white t-shirt, and denim shorts, that showed off her toned legs. Her brown hair blew in the breeze.
Suddenly, a bus pulled up. She eagerly boarded, appreciating the blast of air conditioning. As she looked around, she realized that the bus was completely empty. Her stomach growled in disappointment.
Just as she was about to settle into a seat, the bus driver turned to her. "Hey, sorry about the temperature," he said, looking around the empty bus. "Where are you headed?"
Carmen stuttered nervously, unsure why this bus was empty and the driver was talking to her. "U-Um, D-Downtown," she said, glancing down at her feet.
The bus driver chuckled, "Good thing I'm headed that way too." Then, he leaned closer to her, "But I have a proposition for you, how about a ride downtown you'll never forget."
Carmen's eyes widened in shock, unsure what he meant by that. She swallowed nervously, feeling a flutter of excitement in her stomach. "What kind of ride?" she questioned.
