It was a hot summer day at the family reunion, and the only shade around was under the old school bus parked in the backyard. Ari, a tall and curvy woman with curly hair, had slipped away from the rest of the family to cool off. As she sat down on the dusty floor, she noticed a rustle behind her. She turned to see her cousin, Dax, a tanned and muscular man, coming up from the other side of the bus.
"What are you doing out here?" she asked him, surprised.
"Just needed a break from the family," he replied, catching his breath. "Mind if I sit here with you?"
Ari shrugged and scooted over, but as soon as Dax sat down he put his hand on her thigh. She tensed up, but before she could say anything, he leaned in and whispered in her ear, "I've always had a thing for you, Ari."
