As she walked through the deserted park at night, Lily's heart was pounding. She had never done anything like this before, and the thrill of the unknown was both scary and exhilarating. Suddenly, she heard a rustling in the bushes, and she froze.
"Who's there?" she called out, trying to sound tough, but her voice betrayed her fear.
"It's just me," came a voice from the darkness. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."
Lily recognized the voice as that of her neighbor, Jake. She had seen him around the building, but they had never really talked before. Jake emerged from the shadows, and Lily could see his tall, muscular frame in the dim light.
"What are you doing here?" Lily asked, her curiosity getting the better of her fear.
"I could ask you the same thing," Jake replied with a smirk. "But I think I know what you're here for."
